Will Bevel Priming Oil clog my pores? I try to avoid putting oil on my face.

No, Bevel products are non-comedogenic.  For the nitty gritty, read on.

Bevel Priming Oil consists of a nourishing blend of olive, sunflower, and castor oils.  Some fear oils will clog their pores, make their skin too oily, or cause acne.  But this is rarely true for olive, sunflower, or castor oil.  These were specifically chosen both for this reason and the fact that they work together to remove impurities and soften skin.  Softened hair is cut more easily and softened skin easily yields to the razor....no tugging or scraping.

Did you know that olive oil and castor oil are often used to clear skin up and avoid breakouts? Those using the Oil Cleansing Method massage castor oil mixed with another (usually olive oil and/or sunflower oil) into their skin to dissolve the bad oil (oil that has hardened with impurities and gotten stuck in your pores).  They then steam their face to open the pores, allowing the bad oil to then be easily removed.

As a bonus, did you know that sunflower oil contains a tremendous amount of Vitamin E?  Studies show that Vitamin E can help prevent scarring and improve the skin's appearance.

Everyone is different, but oil alone doesn't usually cause blemishes.  Acne, cysts, pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads are usually brought on by hormones, bacteria, dead skin cells and the buildup of these issues.

We can't do anything about your hormones, but using fresh blades and exfoliating (Bevel Shaving exfoliates!) will help extensively with regards to bacteria and dead skin cells.
